The Challenge

In 2023, TPCi was in the early stages of developing a series called 'Beyond the Pokédex.' Our goal was to support this pilot by completing the buildout of the Pokéstar Studio, implementing a modular and cost-effective set design, and staffing key roles for the broadcast pilot. This included staffing of key roles such as Project Management, Creative Director, Visual Designer, Electrician, Audio Engineer, Lighting Director, and Director of Photography.

Our Solution

We developed renderings of the studio set design, and built and installed the set at their Bellevue studio. Once production began, we provided staffing of key positions such as Project Manager, Creative Director, Visual Designer, Electrician, Audio Engineer, Lighting Director, Director of Photography, Teleprompter Operator, and Production Manager.

The pilot season was comprised of nine episodes and has received approval to continue for a second season in 2024. The series, 'Beyond the Pokédex,' showcases in-depth knowledge and teaches viewers everything they ever wanted to know about their favorite Pokémon. There are over 1000 Pokémon, so we Gotta Catch 'Em All!
